Kemi Badenoch Visits Templant Rental Power
Templant Rental Power was delighted to welcome the Leader of the Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, MP to its Chelmsford depot on November 14th. The purpose of the visit was for a comprehensive tour of the site and discussion focused on the issues currently impacting UK businesses.
The tour, led by Directors Chris and Zoe Allen, highlighted Templant’s end-to-end operational capabilities: the extensive generator fleet, cable and distribution, and the transport division.
A key part of the visit was Ms. Badenoch’s engagement with the workforce, where she spent time speaking with members of the engineering and transport teams, gaining first-hand insight into the specialist, high-pressure work required to deliver both planned project power and emergency power solutions to clients 24/7.
Ms. Badenoch showed interest in Templant’s commitment to future talent and workforce development. She engaged directly with the company’s apprentices about their training and development paths. The tour concluded with Ms. Badenoch stepping inside one of Templant’s articulated lorries for a direct chat with one of the company’s long-serving drivers.
Following the depot tour, the Templant site served as the backdrop for a media event. Ms. Badenoch participated in a live GB News segment to discuss the upcoming budget. This was immediately followed by a press question, which drew coverage from national media outlets, including the BBC, ITV, and Sky News.
Templant Rental Power extends its sincere thanks to Kemi Badenoch and her team for dedicating their time for visiting us.
