Templant POWERS The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead 2012
This summer saw Templant once again supply the entire temporary power for the All England Jumping course, Hickstead. As an official supplier to the showground Templant look forward to fulfilling all the power needs year on year to the suit the shows demands.
This year Templant had to contend with server weather warnings including one of the wettest July’s on record. It was touch and go whether the show would go ahead at all. But it was down to the hard work and perseverance of the show organisers and partners working together that the show was once again a huge success. The final days of the show were even enjoyed under brilliant sunshine.
This year the power requirements were slightly larger than previous years due to the London Olympics drawing in larger quantities of overseas riders and exhibitors. The showground all played a vital part in the training facilities for the German show jumping team. As well as this Sky Sports were broadcasting live throughout the entire 5 day duration providing great coverage for the general public to tune in.
As proud sponsors of one of the biggest national show jumping championship classes in the UK, The Templant Events Queen Elizabeth II Cup, the Templant team also got to enjoy some of the action at the show including the world class show jumping, showing, driving classes and dressage.
