Imagination, a global creative communications agency, engaged UK E Media Electrics to bring to life a jumbo jet 747 at a UK Airport for the launch of the All-New Range Rover Sport. When UK E Media Electrics asked Templant to provide the temporary power for the seven week period for this global event the answer was a conclusive YES!
 The project was to create a stylish corporate area inside the jumbo jet to host the World’s Press while the All-New 2013 Range Rover Sport was driven through an additional jumbo jet.
THE PROJECT: Templant engineers worked closely with UK E Media Electrics to ensure sufficient power was provided to serve the lighting and AC system they installed throughout the Jet and associated catering facilities.
Consistency of power was paramount for their uniquely designed AC system which ran along the entire roof of the Jet to ensure optimum temperatures in both the cold weather and the heat wave endured during the launch.
Templant supplied and set up a 165Kva super silent generator together with the necessary electrical distribution board and cabling to connect to the onboard electrics.
All equipment was checked by Templant engineers to ensure the continuity of temporary power for the duration of the filming, entertainment and promotional activities.
Designed and engineered at Land Rover’s development centres in the UK, the new 2013 model has been branded as “The fastest, most agile, most responsive Land Rover everâ€.
And for all you Range Rover Sport fans, this beast goes on sale during the third quarter of 2013 in 169 markets worldwide.
