Powering Hertfordshire University
This May, Templant were once again responsible for powering The Hertfordshire University’s summer events held at their primary events facility, The Forum.
The annual events consisted of The Slam Dunk Musical Festival and the Hertfordshire Summer Ball. Both events attracted thousands of students from the university and surrounding areas. Being held over the last two weekends of May, the organisers were blessed with good weather and attendance supported this with tickets selling out for both events.
Templant supplied all the temporary power for the events which included Generators powering the numerous music stages, hospitality areas, food halls and big veiwing screens. Templant utilised their own transport fleet to deliver all the equipment and position everything into place in the most efficient manner resulting in cutting down installation time drastically.
Templant’s event specialist engineers and electricians were on site during the build up to oversee the electrical installation process, including connecting the cabling, distribution, cable ramps and erecting the temporary lighting. Once everything was in place and certified the event could get under way.
Both events were once again a huge success and continue to be a highly popular event among students from all around the county.
