Having worked on numerous broadcast productions Templant were keen to assist their regular Media client at the UEFA Champions league Festival held at The International Quarter close to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Having worked together before the Media team knew they could rely on Templant to provide consistent uninterrupted power that live outside broadcasting demands.
The free four-day football celebration, featuring a series of family-friendly activities, was the first major event to come to the home of the 2012 London Olympics since last summer. Festival ambassadors, including former England players Faye White and Steve McManaman were on hand to meet and greet the fans.
Templant provided two 300Kva fully synced generator sets to ensure seemless power as well as two three thousand litre fully bunded fuel tanks together with the necessary cabling and electrical distribution board. Templant also managed the fuel requirements for the three days of live broadcasting.
Needless to say following set up all equipment was fully tested by Templant Engineers to ensure optimum running capacity prior to the commencement of broadcasting.
