Templant were successful in their bid to provide temporary power for a huge weekend of partying at the forum nightclub in Herfordshire.
The first event, The UHSU Summer Ball, is one of their biggest nights on campus with acts such as Mark Ronson and Little Mix!
This year there were 3 different stages, a marquee, a full on fun fair with ferris wheel, dodgems and simulator, side show stalls and casino. Two nights later theforum hosted The Slam Dunk South Festival.
The event was a sell out and absolutely crazy, any interruption in power was not an option, especially with seven stages of live music to be enjoyed.
The specialists at Templant surveyed the site and drew up plans to provide the required noise efficient temporary power and associated electrical distribution.
Templant’s logistical team and electricians arrived onsite to set up their ten super silent generators, four diesel lighting towers, electrical distribution board, a sufficient run of neatly layed and positioned cabling together with fully bunded fuel tanks.
Before leaving site the set up was tested by Templant to ensure they were satisfied that seamless power would be provided throughout both event nights.
Client comment:
“The team were extremely helpful in the lead up and adapted quickly to changes made. Friendly personnel and fast, reliable service helped to make the event a success.â€
