Templant Rocks in the Priory for the Third Year Running

2013 hosted the 19th Rock in The Priory Music Festival held in beautiful setting of the Ware Priory grounds. At the end of July crowds of music lovers from young to old made their way to the Island at the Priory to enjoy a day of Live Music performed by local bands. From solo acoustic performers to 5 piece rock groups the wide variety of music was endless.

For the 3rd year running organizers, Ware Town Council, contacted Templant to provide the temporary power for the main stage and once again Templant, Event Power Specialists, were delighted to be a part of one of the best local music events in Hertfordshire supporting local bands and artists.

Rock in the Priory has been invaluable over the past few years in highlighting local talent.  It has evolved from a few bands on the back lawn to the major local music event it is today. The 20 bands participating in this year’s festival had already undertaken the nail-biting auditions previously in the year to be a part of this event.

Templant delivered and set up a 60Kva generator together with the necessary neatly positioned cabling and electrical distribution board to ensure the live music was uninterrupted throughout the day.

With over 4000 visitors at this year’s event, it proved to be a great success and a fabulous way to spend the day chilling out, soaking up the music and relaxing.  “It was really successful and in the eight  years we’ve been we’ve been involved , it was the first time I’ve seen so many people at the end”.
