Brighton’s FREE beachfront cinema was back by popular demand this year. The larger than life screen took outdoor cinema viewing to a whole new level!
The gigantic 40sqm screen was almost double in size from 2012 with a new 300 seated grandstand, VIP area as well as a licensed bar and refreshment area for all to enjoy.
Early in July Templant’s provided temporary power for Brighton’s charity beach festival ‘Paddle Round the Pier’ and Brighton and Hove Council were so impressed that they approached Templant to provide the necessary power required for Brighton’s Big Screen and Cinema complex.
Templant liaised with Brighton and Hove Council to ascertain their requirements and specified 2 super silent generators, fuel tanks, cabling and electrical distribution panels. This was delivered and set up for the 4 week schedule and the equipment was rigorously checked before leaving site.
Brighton’s Big Screen showcased some of the biggest box office hits of 2013. There were some fabulous themed weekends and some of the summer’s biggest sporting events such as the World Athletic Championships and The Ashes!
Conclusion – a huge success, looking forward to 2014!
