Templant Ensures Guy Fawkes Goes of With a Bang
Wanstead Flats hosted the annual Guy Fawkes Night for Newham Council on the 1st November. The popular event which attracted over 30,000 people included a spectacular 20min firework display co-ordinated to music from music legends Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, The Bee Gees and Frank Sinatra.
As the preferred supplier to Newham Council, Templant supplied the temporary power for the entire event, which included generators for food concessionaires, PA systems, stages and hospitality marquees. As the event took place during the evening, Templant also supplied the lighting around the park to ensure walkways and pedestrian areas were well lit.
Due to bad weather conditions leading up to the event, Templant took advantage of their crane assisted vehicles when offloading. Templant were able to off load and position all the generators into position without running off road ways and track ways ensuring minimal damage to the park and potential delays in the installation.
Once again this event was hugely supported and turn out numbers reflected all the hard work put into running a great evening for everyone.
