Paddle round the Pier 2013 l Brighton
Paddle Round The Pier was founded by Dave “Sandals” Samuel back in 1996 and quickly gained international recognition as one of the hippest fund-raising events there is. The entire Paddle event is run, promoted and maintained by a crew of unpaid volunteers and could not go ahead without the generous support of sponsors.
So when David approached Templant they were delighted to get involved as sponsors for such a worthy cause. Templant generously donated, delivered and set up six generators, electrical distribution boards and cabling to provide temporary power to the main stage and all the other concessions over the two day event.
This fantastic yearly event has raised over £150,000.00 for charity over the past few years. This year’s charities are: The RNLI, Winston’s Wish, the leading childhood bereavement charity in the UK, and Surf Action whose core purpose is to focus on the well being and support of combat veterans and their families.
